Precautions :- 

  • Mixing of Birla White Excel Putty is very important & hence extreme care should be taken to properly mix with hand or mechanical stirrer in order to get the best results in terms of smoothness and coverage etc. Mixing should be continued till a uniform paste is formed.
  • Only a required quantity of Birla White Excel Putty mix should be prepared which can be used within three and half hours
  • Birla White Excel Putty should be kept out of the reach of children.
  • Harmful if swallowed; in case of ingestion, seek immediate medical attention.
  • If irritation develops or persists, immediately wash skin with plenty of water and get medical attention

Description

Scope of Application :- This product can be applied on the interior/exterior surface such as cement-based plaster/concrete/mortar walls and ceiling surface up to 1.5mm thickness in two coats. This product has curing-free property.

Required Tools :-  Mechanical stirrer should be used for homogeneous mixing. Putty blade/spatula and gurmala should be used for the application work

Surface/Substrate* Preparation :- Remove all the loosely adhering materials such as dirt, dust, organic solvent (de-shuttering /curing-free compound) and oil, etc from the surface by using emery paper, putty blade or wire brush, etc

Pre-wetting of the Substrate :-  Pre-wetting is not required before the application of "Birla White Excel Putty"

Mixing of “Excel Putty :-  Mixing ratio: Slowly add 1kg Birla White Excel Putty with 45% clean water (1kg Birla WhiteExcel Putty+450ml water) to make the paste. Mixing should be carried out preferably witha mechanical stirrer (3-5 minutes)/vigorous mixing manually using a metallic rod for 10-15minutes to obtain a creamy consistency. Leave the paste for 5 minutes after thoroughmixing to get best results. Prepared paste should be used within 3-3.5 hours.
